PRODUCT BIO: Ziziphus Spina Christi is Evergreen tree with an irregular rounded crown. The trunk is short with rough, gray-brown bark. Leaves are small, alternate, and ovate to oval, with a rounded apex, dark, shiny green, with stipular spines. Flowers are small, numerous, arranged in clusters, white. The fruit is a globose drupe, fleshy, brown when ripe, edible.
Water: Water them moderately after checking the top soil. Keep the soil moist, but not wet. The soil on which they are supposed to be planted must be well-drained, humus rich. During summer, water thoroughly. while in winter season or rainy season gradually reduce the water or when the soil starts to become slightly dry at the top. Water in the early morning or late evening when temperatures are cooler. Always check your soil before watering.
Nutrients/Fertilizer: In terms of feeding, use any organic fertilizers. Apply them once a month especially during the growing season.
Light: sidr tree can thrive in full sun in a place that is protected from the wind.During summer season for small plants keep the plants in a shaded area if possible. For mature plants it can stand with full sunlight easily. During winter season plants can withstand direct/indirect light.
