Common Name: Cuban Oregano

Size: 30-40cm ht

PRODUCT BIO: It’s an evergreen perennial herb, belonging to the mint family. It’s known for its sweet aromatic leaves. The Cuban Oregano plants (Also known as, Plectranthus Amboinicus) are characterized by thick & fuzzy leaves, known for its strong pleasant odour. Colour of these leaves are greyish green and are saw-toothed at the edges. And flowers are mostly in panicles and vary in colours like pink, white or lavender.

Water: Water them moderately after checking the top soil. Keep the soil moist, but not wet. The soil on which they are supposed to be planted must be well-drained, humus rich. During summer, water thoroughly. while in winter season or rainy season gradually reduce the water or when the soil starts to become slightly dry at the top. Water in the early morning or late evening when temperatures are cooler. Always check your soil before watering.

Nutrients/Fertilizer: In terms of feeding, use any organic fertilizers. Apply them once a month especially during the growing season.

Light: They perform well when kept in presence of full sunlight or even in partial shade. To ensure their healthy growth ideally try to manage temperature somewhere around 10 to 35 degree Celsius.
